Mr. Slaven:
I strongly protest the blasphemous cartoons published in The Cavalier Daily on August 23-24, which grossly mock Our Lord Jesus Christ and attacks the immaculate purity of the Mother of God. This is deeply offensive to the Catholic Faith and to me personally.
A year ago, your newspaper issued an official apology after printing something that irritated pro-homosexuals. Why do you find it acceptable to attack the Catholic Faith?
I urge you to have the indecent insults removed from The Cavalier Daily’s web site immediately, and issue an apology. Our Lord and His Holy Mother are untouchable and deserve utmost respect.
