Recently, there was a conference in Dayton Ohio, hosted by the Marianist Social Justice Collaborative.
Among the speakers was Fr. James Martin. On social media he posted an image of the podium in which he spoke.
The podium was draped with a blasphemous banner depicting the Blessed Virgin Mary holding a “transgender progress” flag while surrounded by additional pride flags.

This “Imago Dei” conference was held at a Catholic retreat and conference center and its purpose was to celebrate LGBTQ+ ministry. There were around one hundred attendees.
According to National Catholic Reporter “Imago Dei marked the 50th anniversary of the first groundbreaking Bergamo conference held in 1974, then called “The Gay Christian.”
