FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

GUERNEVILLE, Calif.—On June 22, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence will be reading to young children at the Guerneville Regional Library.

The “sisters” are a group of men who lewdly dress as “nuns” and perform vulgar shows that blasphemously mock Catholics.

Some of their activities include portraying homosexual men pole dancing on a crucifix, declaring pedophilic ‘saints,’ hosting sarcastic confession nights in homosexual bars and performing lewd acts while dressed up as Jesus and Mary.

In spite of all this, the Sonoma County Library system is allowing the “sisters” to read to young children. The event is being billed as a “Storytime with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.”

The district’s website invites locals to “join the Russian River community and the local Sisters for a fun and fabulous storytime for all ages! A Guerneville Pride tradition.” (emphasis added)

This drag group made national headlines last year when the Los Angeles Dodgers presented them with a “citizen’s hero award.” Thousands of Catholics protested outside of Dodger Stadium and voiced their opposition to this acknowledgment of anti-Catholic bigotry.

Sign a Petition Demanding This Event Gets Cancelled!

John Horvat II, vice-president of the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family, and Property (TFP), called for the “immediate cancellation of this offensive, anti-Catholic event.”

He continued: “If this event continues as planned, our children will be taught that the LGBT agenda is a good thing; that making fun of Catholics is a good thing; and worst of all, that mocking God is a good thing.”

The TFP has recently launched an online petition that is expected to garner thousands of signatures. In addition, TFP is looking into organizing an in-person prayer protest in front of the Guerneville Regional Library as the event takes place.

“The LGBT lobby is trying to hijack the month of the Sacred Heard of Jesus for the sin of pride,” said John Ritchie, director of TFP Student Action.

“As faithful Catholics, we can’t let that happen. We need to protest this unthinkable offense to God in every way we can. That way, we can make sure that Our Lord’s name is not blasphemed and our children are not perverted.”
