A twenty-four month boycott against Ford Motor Companies, led by the American Family Association (AFA) and co-sponsored by Tradition, Family and Property Inc. and other groups has now ended with success.
The boycott began when conservative groups led by AFA took action against Ford, asking them to stop supporting the homosexual agenda and moral decay of America. This support took many forms, including large cash donations given to pro-homosexual âmarriageâ groups, homoerotic advertisements published on homosexual media outlets and sponsorship of homosexual events.
AFA and other groups revealed Fordâs actions to Americans coast to coast and asked them immediately to boycott Ford cars.
Throughout the two years of the boycott, 780,365 individuals officially signed on and Ford sales dropped an average of 8% each month, leading the car manufacturer back to the bargaining table, where it conceded on all points demanded of them. (These points are clearly outlined on AFAâs website. Go directly to this page by clicking here.)
Conservative groups herald Fordâs concession as a myth-shattering proof of the power of peaceful legal protest. TFP Webmaster John Horvat commented: âMany feel that protesting large corporations is ineffective. However, this idea has been proven false on many occasions.â
Mr. Horvat continued: âWhen properly organized, moral Americans have shut down major art exhibits, stopped blasphemous theater plays, made eBay change its policy and now forced Ford Motor Companies to stop corrupting society.â
The American TFP thanks AFA for leading this boycott and proving that morality can still be upheldâŠif the good are willing to stand together.
