The Amazon Synod wants us to become pagan tribal Indians!
Since the Special Assembly of the Synod for the Pan-Amazon Region to be held in Rome this coming October aims to seek ânew paths for the Church and for an integral ecology,â the American TFP is helping its sister organization, the Plinio CorrĂȘa de Oliveira Institute, in collecting signatures opposing the threatened internationalization of the Amazon region. It also seeks to prevent the Amazon from becoming âa huge green slum divided into tribal ghettos.â
The petition also warns of issues that could demolish key points of the Catholic Faith, such as the attempt to redefine the priestly ministry by ordaining married Indians and including women in the celebration of liturgies reserved exclusively for priests. Moreover, those responsible for the Synod claim that one should no longer catechize and evangelize the indigenous people but rather assimilate their savage customs and replace the Catholic liturgy with their rituals (read fetish cults).
As Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig MĂŒller, former prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith has denounced, âAn ideological vision is emerging [with the Amazon Synod] that has nothing to do with Catholicism. This Synod is a pretext for changing the Church, and the fact it is being held in Rome is meant to underscore the beginning of a new Church.â
Sign and share this petition in support of the more than 20,000 Amazonians who have called for true evangelization and progress. Say NO to internationalization! Say NO to distorting the Sacred Face of the Church!
