A new movie is available on HBO Max, which seeks to normalize abortion by turning it into a teenage comedy.
The movie is Unpregnant and revolves around a 17-year-old high school girl who gets pregnant, and wants to get an abortion not to âruinâ her plans for college.
In the movie, according to Missouri law, girls under the age of 18 need parental consent to get an abortion. The main character, Veronica, wants to go around her parents, who apparently are Catholic and referred to as âJesus Freaks.â
She enlists the help of an old ex-best friend and travels nearly 1,000 miles to the closest abortion clinic in a state that does not require parental consent for girls under the age of 17 to get an abortion.
One review referred to the movie as, âa warmhearted, often wacky teen comedy…â
HBO is making the grave sin of abortion, the killing of an innocent child, into a comedy.
Protest HBOâs Normalization of Abortion!
According to the director of the movie, Rachel Lee Goldenburg, âIâm proud to be working on a project that will hopefully help destigmatize and normalize abortion.â
Abortion is a grave sin and the killing of an innocent child. It is not a civil right. â
It is murder.
HBO is promoting the killing of babies, to younger audiences, as this movie has a PG-13 rating.
