A horrendous cartoon depiction of Our Lord Jesus Christ as a bearded woman is being promoted in Iceland as part of a Sunday school advertisement published by the official Church of Iceland.
According to Breitbart, the Church of Iceland’s media representative, Petur Georg Markan, defended the advertisement saying, “We are trying to embrace society as it is. We have all sorts of people and we need to train ourselves to talk about Jesus as being ‘all sorts’ in this context.”
He insisted that it was okay to depict Jesus with a beard and feminine body parts, “Especially because it’s really important that each and every person see themselves in Jesus.”
Church minister Guorun Karls-og Helgudottir blasphemously stated, “Some people interpret it as a trans Jesus, others as a woman. Some see Mary with a beard, and others see a genderqueer person.”
