On February 18, America Needs Fatima supporters held over 1,000 Public Square Rosary Rallies nationwide in honor of Fatima Saints Jacinta and Francisco. The Saturday Rosary Rallies also expressed the determination of devout Americans to continue to spread devotion to Our Lady and the Fatima message.
Rally Captains reported on the success of their rallies as the public reaction was highly positive. For many, these rallies were their first exposure to the two Fatima saints and their important message.

“Yesterday, we prayed at Planned Parenthood in honor of the feast days of Jacinta and Francisco Marto, the children of Fatima. We prayed for respect for human life and for the petitions that Our Lady asked us to pray for during her 1917 Apparitions in Fatima, Portugal.” ~ Robert in Fort Myers, Florida.
Whether in subzero temperatures in New Jersey (above) or mild weather in Texas, rally participants all experienced the joy of bringing the message of Fatima to the public through the rosary.
“We’ve been committed monthly for a year now. We share a deep love for Our Most Beautiful Mother. Mostly we get positive horn honking and waves. ” ~ Linda in Tampa, Florida
Social media and the media, in general, may not report on these rallies, but they have a huge impact by bringing the Fatima message directly to the public square, where thousands will see them and take note. Rally captains like Linda are holding rallies on a regular monthly basis. They choose places with high visibility to maximize their impact. At some intersections, thousands of cars pass by.
The monthly rallies feature themes related to the needs of the Church. Saturday’s Rosary Rallies remembered Saints Jacinta and Francisco, who are role models for children. Next month’s Rosary Rally for traditional marriage is in response to the attacks against this sacred institution. The special intentions of each monthly rally are directed to those issues most in need of God’s Grace. Our Lady sees these rallies and uses them as her instruments to funnel graces to the public.
“We had a wonderful Rally in Sierra Vista, Arizona. Twenty people showed up, and we prayed the Angelus to start, then sang all three verses of Immaculate Mary. Everyone was elated, and many passersby honked their approval.” Ed in Sierra Vista, Arizona
Over the years, the Public Square Rosary Campaign rallies have been responsible for millions of rosaries prayed at tens of thousands of locations across America. The effort is a project of the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP) and its America Needs Fatima campaign.
The biggest month is the October rally, in which participants pray for America as a whole. These rallies are held at nearly 20,000 locations annually! There are rallies in every state and major city. How Our Lady must be pleased to see so many honoring her!
“Greetings from Hickory, North Carolina! Confirmation candidates and their parents showed up at our parish today to pray the rosary. We had a total of about 25 people. The students who came received credit for one ‘faith experience,’ which will help them meet the requirements for their future Confirmation.” Carol from Hickory, North Carolina

The institution of marriage is especially under attack by “alternative” lifestyles contradicting the nuptial bond. The LGBTQ agenda especially pushes young people away from traditional marriage. That is why praying the rosary in public for traditional marriage is so necessary. Now more than ever, a presence in the public square is needed. Out of love for the Holy Family, enlist as a rally captain for the March 18h Rosary Rally for traditional marriage.
