On June 8, 2020, we traveled to Jefferson City, Missouri for our rosary rally at the capital. This “caravan” is comprised of young volunteers of the American Society for the Defense of Tradition Family and Property (TFP), traveling to all fifty U.S capitals to pray the rosary for the conversion of our country in this present time of crisis.
The capitol grounds in Jefferson City were very quiet with few passersby. We brought our “honk against socialism” signs to drum up support from the sparse car traffic.
What the Popes Have to Say About Socialism
We were pleasantly surprised to find a large monument of the Ten Commandments outside of the capitol. We unrolled our “Pray for America to Return to Order” banner, raised the TFP standard, and established our statue of Our Lady of Fatima in her place of honor in the center of the peaceful prayer rally.
Warning! A Virus Threatens America’s Future and Christian Civilization
We prayed the rosary and finished with the TFP battle cry, “Tradition, Family, Property! America, America, America!”
A man walking by recognized the TFP from its participation in the March for Life in Washington, D.C. He was happy to hear about the caravan’s mission and agreed that our country is in dire need of divine help.
After a long drive into the Ozark region of Arkansas, the fringes of tropical storm Cristobal chased us into our cabin for the night.
May Our Lady bless this effort and send her grace like rainfall over our great nation.
